Do I have to create a child theme?

No, creating a child theme is completely optional. A child theme is only necessary if you plan to manually edit the core code, HTML templates, or structural files of the theme.

By using a child theme for custom code modifications, you ensure that your custom changes will not be overwritten or broken when the parent theme receives official updates. If you only plan to build and design pages using the default templates, modules, and the standard theme settings editor, you do not need to create a child theme.
