Slow images and videos are almost always caused by file size, not by the theme. The theme's image modules output every image with its width and height, so HubSpot's CDN serves a resized and compressed copy automatically. What still matters is what you upload and how much you put on one page.
For images, upload a file as large as the space it fills and no larger; a full-width image rarely needs more than about 2000px wide, and a card or team photo much less. Save photos as JPEG rather than PNG. The theme's image modules also support lazy loading: select the module, open the image in the Content tab and set its loading option to Lazy, so images further down the page only load when the visitor scrolls to them.
For videos, do not upload video files to the page. Embed them from YouTube, Vimeo or HubSpot Video, which stream in the right quality for the visitor's connection, and avoid several autoplaying videos on one page.
If the page still feels slow, run it through Google PageSpeed Insights to see which files are largest. Server speed is handled by HubSpot's CDN, so anything that remains after fixing the media is a question for HubSpot Support.
